It can be very intimidating to practice Tarot, and many of us feel like we aren’t good enough.
I rebuke that feeling and wholly believe that each of us can use tarot in a way that is both personal and meaningful regardless of skill level.

LEARN THE SELFTAROT WAY
STEP ONE: 6 SIMPLE WAYS TO GET TO KNOW YOUR TAROT CARDS
Building a relationship with a deck of cards may seem silly at first but trust me it’ll really step up your game and make the process infinitely easier.
Having a good working relationship with your cards is important.
Putting in the time and effort to really get familiar with your tarot cards is cornerstone to the tarot reading game. Being familiar with your tarot cards makes the reading tarot much easier. 100%.
It will significantly reduce the time it takes for you to increase your skill level.
STEP TWO: LOSE THE BOOK AND START READING TAROT LIKE A PRO
Tired of trying to memorize your tarot cards like they were times tables? Having trouble using your intuition? Or just plain don’t know how to begin?

STEP THREE: START SMALL BY READING ONE CARD AT A TIME
Okay, so you’ve found that reading tarot isn’t quite as intimidating as you thought it was and your starting to see that you can do this, it’s time to take your first steps, albeit baby steps, toward giving a comprehensive Tarot reading.
Even if it is just by reading one tarot card or one card at a time, you’re still doing a tarot reading!
Learn to use one card to illuminate and gain insight into what you are feeling or going through. Tarot readings are like a snapshot of that specific moment in time.
STEP FOUR: HOW TO INTERPRET MULTIPLE CARDS IN A READING
So, now you’ve got the basics. Everything’s not completely hopeless, and your starting to see some progress. Good for you! Time to step it up a notch and learn to incorporate multiple single cards in a reading.
First, start small by learning to use a simple three-card spread to reveal the What? of a situation.
STEP FIVE: MASTER READING A TAROT SPREAD
When you think of giving a Tarot reading naturally the image of a complex spread laid between you and your querent ( you call that a Celtic Cross!?) may come to mind.
Fear not! Although interpreting multiple cards in a tarot reading can seem complicated it’s really only as easy or as hard as you make it. Get to know the basics or reading a spread as well as some tips and tricks on how to make your readings more ‘complete’

Expanding your vocabulary (juuust a little bit) will exponentially boost your reading quality as well as make your Tarot readings more relate-able. And I’m not talking fancy words here.
