Would you believe me if I told you that your tarot reading wasn’t actually wrong? After-all nothings more embarrassing or off-putting than a tarot treading that misses its mark.
Not only is a inaccurate tarot reading embarrassing but it can lead to second guessing yourself and low confidence. You may even be haunted by that one tarot reading making you too ashamed or anxious to try again.
What if I told you that your reading wasn’t wrong? While a reading may seem “wrong” there are actually a multitude of outside factors that can affect the accuracy of a tarot reading.
In this post I will identify and outline nine factors that could potentially affect the accuracy of a tarot reading. In other words here are nine reasons why your tarot reading actually wasn’t wrong.
The entries on this list are not in any particular order
#1 Your Message Was Delivered Using The Wrong ‘Voice’
The actual deck of tarot cards you use has a great impact on what voice or tone the messages you deliver will have.
A playful deck may make light of news that has a more somber tone.A blunt or aggressive deck may make the message seem too insensitive.
Using the wrong voice can actually be cause your message to be rejected by the receiver whether it was correct or not.
The delicate nature of the information delivered through tarot cards makes it all too important to communicate using the correct tone and voice.
Your very credibility can depend on it!
The correct voice enhances trust. How you are viewed as a tarot reader can be judged from the voice you use to communicate messages to querents.
Your skill level and accuracy can also be determined simply from the tone of the messages you deliver from your tarot cards.
Depending on the tone behind the message and the voice of the message itself it becomes easier or more difficult for the receiver to adsorb your message.
This is important for you to be taken seriously as a tarot reader.
#2 The Recipient Is Vulnerable Or Defensive
Tarot readings can be uncomfortable. Sometimes they force a client to take a close look at events and situations in their lives they either don’t want to see or aren’t ready to look at.
There are even times when a message from a tarot reading can be confrontational.
This is why it is important to communicate in a way that is effective and appropriate for the given situation.
Tarot readings bring up sensitive subjects for many and it is crucial that as a tarot reader you are prepared on how to deliver the messages.
Instead of making the recipient shut down a message delivered in an effective way can allow the querent and the reader to effectively work together to resolve an issue.
#3 The Reading Was Misinterpreted
What the cards show us is largely up for interpretation, but what is shown to us is the answer we seek. It just up to us to interpret the message in a way that is not only accurate but is easiest for us to understand.
This is especially true when it comes to intuitive readers.
Reading intuitively opens us up to a lot of information. Some of this information may not be correct on its own, but is meant to lead us to the correct answer.
This is was it is so so important to check with your intuition continually throughout the reading. You must effectively sift through the information and cues you are receiving to be led to the right message.
Another easy way to misinterpret a tarot reading is if you are reading the cards in a straightforward way and the message you need to see is between the lines. This also happens vice versa.
You may feel as if the tarot is beating around the bush. This is because you are looking for a straight answer but in all actuality you are needing to read between the lines to find your message.
#4 You Got The Wrong POV
Identifying the point of view of a tarot reading gets tricky when you have multiple court cards in a reading.
Is the Page of Swords someone I work with or is it a personality trait that I need to take on to make it throughout my day?
In tough situations as this it is important that you set some ground rules before you begin the reading. It important to note whether you are going to interpret court cards as people, personality traits, or situations.
It is also important to look for clues and check with your intuition. Does the queen of swords represent your personality and the Page of Wands represents your coworkers work ethic? Or are you you needing to put your emotions in check and find a new way of communicating?
Check these observations against your intuition to “check the facts”.
#5 It Hasn’t Happened Yet
Sometimes a tarot reading isn’t ‘right’ because it hasn’t happened yet. Not to say all tarot readings are insights into the future you can definitely get a heads up.
While tarot can sometimes peek into the future it is in reality just a snapshot or still frame of a moment in your life.
The future is fluid and even getting a tarot reading about a situation can initiate the winds of change.
If you mitigate the circumstances the future will change ultimately affecting the outcome, and accuracy of your tarot reading.
Also tarot readings are not instant fortunes. Be patient! Being impatient can cause you to look for your reading around every corner trying to find meaning in the meaningless ultimately distracting you from being open to the workings of the universe.
This brings us to your role in the reading.
Did you put in the work to bring about your desired outcome or did you just sit and wait for it to happen?
Sitting and waiting for things to just happen is largely a factor of a tarot reading being wrong. If you don’t put in the effort, get organized, and stay persistent you are going to get that promotion.
#6 The Recipient Is Not Receptive
Some people are just not willing to participate in a tarot reading. They may be skeptical or are just outright trying to prove you’re a fraud.
Oftentimes these people want to be in control and feel like the tarot will force the outcome on them.
Other times the client is just scared.
How many people do you know of that are afraid of the devil tarot card. It is often used in films as a precursor to someones death. With a reputation like that its not wonder many people are scared!
Fortunately the death card is usually not indicative of death. This still puts up a wall of fear for those new to tarot.
Its not too difficult to see that if a person is unwilling or too scared to accept a tarot reading your advice will fall on deaf ears.
#8 Do Not Proceed
This is the simplest more straightforward reason why a tarot reading would be considered inaccurate.
If you are reading from intuition especially you will find that when you drew the cards for the readings you will feel a barrier as well as silence.
You may get bits and pieces of information but overall you will feel unable to ‘read’ the cards . If you try to interpret them you will often find that the information you pull out is inaccurate but oftentimes doesn’t make any sense.
If this happens is it best to inform whom you are reading for that now is not the right time for them to know the details surrounding their question. Their guides or higher power may have something else in mind for them.
#9 Your Reading For Yourself/Getting Stalker Cards
At first glance noticing that you are reading for your self, or sometimes even a friend, when you are supposed to be reading for someone else can easily come down to not being focused. After all if your not concentrating how do you expect to have a clear reading?
Number 9 goes a little further than just being unfocused. Sometimes the universe has lessons for us that we unfortunately just aren’t hearing. The only way to get through to us at these times is through stalker cards.
If a card or cards keep coming up in a reading chances are you aren’t listening to what they have to say. The universe has an important message and you arent listening!
It is important that we acknowledge and understand these messages so that we may heal or progress.
If there’s something that needs to be addressed to continue the growth of the person the tarot will let them know! Regardless of the question asked.
Concusion
So there you have it. Nine reason why the tarot reading you gave actually wasn’t wrong.
It all comes down to a melding pot of outside influences. From not being focused and receptive to not using the right voice it really is easy to misinterpret a tarot reading.
When you become aware of the intricacies of a reading it makes it easier to put together the right ‘formula’ of how to ‘get it right’ so to speak.
However, do keep in mind that what the cards have to say will be said regardless of whether you ask the right questions or don’t want to hear the answer.
